I’m lazy again today so I thought I’d just type a line or two about that science fiction club convention I addressed.
Shortly after my own presentation I was listening to a panel discussion when they called on me. I said I hadn’t raised my hand; I was just leaning on it. They said to fake a question. The upshot was that I’m going to ask to do a presentation on the Drake equation next year. You’ll see it here first.
A couple of musicians were playing “Midnight in Moscow” so I felt obliged to try my best at a Cossack dance. I thought I was terrible at it, but a Cossack friend says that if you are living your life and are happy than you will always dance it right.
